Photographer Dilara Kaynar (second year photography student) started a 2-month-internship in Malta during the months of May and June in the company FBalzan Photography – Malta Wedding Photographer. Meeting Mr Franklin Balzan personally was extremely helpful and productive. He is a very sympathetic and a dedicated photographer. Thanks again for the invitation!

Together, Franklin, Dilara and myself agreed to produce a collaborative book publication about our three different photographic perspectives on Malta. It had been a very effective meeting, especially concerning the content of our apprentice’s internship at Malta Wedding Photography.

Ultimately, a book will be produced at the Fritz-Henßler-Berufskolleg in Dortmund with prints from the three photographers. Moreover, Franklin agreed on visiting Dortmund and to lecture the subject of wedding photography and SEO to photography classes. We are really looking forward to welcome him here in Germany in our college!

When you come to Malta for a very short time — I stayed in Malta for 2 days only — you can still see many amazing places we photographers call locations. I visited, among other spots, the UN world heritage site of the St John's Cathedral, the archeological museum, the Hypogaeum (a must-see underground burial site from Neolithic times I was very lucky to get a ticket for), the Tarxien temples and the National library in Valletta.

Malta with its beautiful light and interesting places is definitely an ideal spot for a wedding. If you think about getting married in Malta, I strongly recommend considering Franklin and his team as your wedding photographers. Their pictures are great, check some of them out at:
